Measurable Cleanliness
TEKMIO by HELLAS CLEAN

From cleaning to documented quality.

A developing framework that organises inspection, documentation, corrective action and reinspection.

IN DEVELOPMENT · Pilot validation stage

The core idea

Recording that cleaning took place is not enough.

The purpose is to document whether the result meets the agreed quality criteria.

The framework is based on predetermined inspection points, distinct assessment methods and the recording of material findings. When a deviation is identified, it is linked to a specific corrective action and, where practically feasible, followed by reinspection.

It is not presented as a certification or as a final commercially validated product.

STAGE 01

The sample is defined before inspection.

Spaces, points, criteria and the method to be used are established in advance. Selection is not made retrospectively based on the result.

Truth Mode: The inspection scope applies only to the agreed sample.

STAGE 02

Each method answers a different question.

Visual inspection, fluorescent indicators or ATP are used only within their respective protocol and are not interpreted as equivalent methods.

Truth Mode: No single method proves microbiological safety on its own.

STAGE 03

A finding is linked to a specific point.

The condition of the predetermined point is recorded against the agreed criterion, without personal evaluation of employees.

Truth Mode: A finding is not automatically generalised to the whole facility.

STAGE 04

A deviation leads to a clear action.

Where a deviation is identified, the agreed corrective action is recorded and the status remains open until the next confirmation.

Truth Mode: The framework supports the process; it does not replace the client's responsibilities and protocols.

STAGE 05

Reinspection closes the cycle where feasible.

A finding may be marked closed or remain open, providing management visibility and a basis for future comparison.

Truth Mode: Trends are considered only when sufficient comparable data exists.

This simulation explains the framework logic. It is not an actual measurement, certification or commercially validated result.

METHOD LENS · TRUTH MODE

Each method illuminates a different part of the picture.

Select a method to separate the question it answers, the type of finding it produces and the conclusion that must not be drawn from it.

What it examines

Whether a specific, predetermined criterion at a specific point is met or shows a deviation.

Finding

Visual conformity or a recorded deviation against the agreed criterion.

It does not prove

Microbiological safety, absence of microorganisms or a laboratory result.

The methods are not interchangeable. Method selection, points, sample and interpretation are agreed before any pilot application.

What cannot be inferred

It does not establish microbiological safety, absence of pathogens or conditions beyond the inspected sample.

This visual is an illustrative template of the TEKMIO logic. It contains no data from an actual facility and is not a certification or final commercial deliverable.

Illustrative application fields

The same methodology adapts to the space.

Points, criteria and methods are not identical everywhere. They are defined before inspection according to the function of the space and the agreed sample.

Guest room

Inspection shaped by how the room is used.

The sample may be organised around predetermined points connected with the guest experience and the operation of the space.

  • Selected high-touch surfaces
  • Agreed bathroom inspection points
  • Finding and reinspection status
Public area

Different flow, different sample.

Higher traffic and varied uses require a separate design for inspection points and timing.

  • Reception and selected service points
  • Seating or shared surfaces
  • Clear connection between finding and action
High-touch points

Consistency in selection and reinspection.

For comparison to be meaningful, points and methods must remain defined within the agreed protocol.

  • Handles, switches or control panels
  • Consistent recording approach
  • Reinspection where practically feasible

Truth Mode: These examples show only a possible application structure. They are not a ready-made protocol, an actual finding or a promise of results for a specific property.

Truth Mode

Limitations are part of the methodology.

What it is

  • An inspection framework with predetermined points.
  • Documentation of findings, actions and reinspections.
  • A tool for management visibility and operational improvement.
  • A basis for pilot validation in the hospitality sector.

What it is not

  • It is not a microbiological certification.
  • It does not prove the absence of pathogens.
  • It does not replace the client’s procedures or responsible personnel.
  • It does not apply arbitrary common thresholds to different measurement systems.
Current statusA defined basis for pilot validation in hotel rooms has been prepared. Actual commercial application and final thresholds require pilot confirmation using specified equipment and an agreed protocol.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

A clear view of what it is — and what it is not.

These answers reflect TEKMIO’s current status without presenting pilot development as a completed certification.

What is Measurable Cleanliness (TEKMIO)?

It is a framework undergoing pilot validation for defining inspection points, recording findings and carrying out reinspection under an agreed protocol.

Is it a microbiological safety certification?

No. It is not a microbiological certification, does not prove the absence of pathogens and does not replace the property’s procedures or responsible personnel.

Is it available as a standard commercial service?

Not yet. It is currently undergoing pilot validation. Any potential application is considered separately and requires agreement on the sample, equipment, method and presentation of results.

How are inspection points and criteria defined?

They are defined before application according to the space, its use, critical points, the specific measurement system and the agreed protocol. Arbitrary common thresholds are not applied across different methods.

Discussing a pilot application

Reliability begins with clear criteria and real data.

A pilot application requires agreement on the sample, inspection points, methods and the way results will be presented.
